Golden Crane® Sweet Rice
Sweet rice, or Mochigome as it’s known in Japan, isn’t sweeter than other kinds of rice, but it is exceptionally soft and sticky. This short-grain rice is a key ingredient in a number of favorite ceremonial dishes, both sweet and savory, like Sekihan in Japan and Zongzi in China. Nomura’s Golden Crane Sweet Rice is available as a white or a brown rice. It’s gluten free, non-GMO, and California grown.
